About Skyline Pediatric Dentistry

Our Beatrice Pediatric Dentist provides complete dental care for children of all ages

Services we provide:

  • Age one dental visits
  • Routine exams and cleaning
  • Diagnostic x-rays
  • Flouride treatments
  • White fillings

You take your child to a pediatrician because you know they are specially trained to treat your child’s medical needs. You get the same benefit by taking your children to a pediatric dentist. Dr. Woodward and his team have trained specifically to effectively care for the dental needs of infants, children, and teenagers.

After every examination, we provide parents with an assessment of your child’s dental health. This includes risk for decay, state of your child’s soft tissues and gums, and an evaluation of bite and dental growth.

Our exams include:

  • Review of child’s health history
  • X-rays if necessary
  • Clinical examination of your child’s mouth, palate, gums, tongue and teeth
  • Thorough cleaning of teeth
  • Teaching and talking about the proper way to brush and floss as well as how good food choices can impact dental health

Meet the Dentist

Dr. Nicholas Woodward, Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Woodward was born and raised in Beatrice by a father who is also a dentist and a mother who was an elementary school teacher.  While growing up, Dr. Woodward played football and ran track for the Orangemen. He continued his academic and athletic career at Nebraska Wesleyan University where he was a member of the Prairie Wolves Track & Field team for four years.  Over the next six years he obtained his D.D.S. and Pediatric Specialty certificate from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He became Board Certified in Pediatric Dentistry in 2010 and has maintained that status ever since. In addition to maintaining private practices in West Omaha and Beatrice, Dr. Woodward also teaches part-time at Creighton University’s School of Dentistry.

Following residency, Dr. Woodward practiced Pediatric Dentistry for 5 years in Chicago, IL.  In 2014 he elected to move closer to home, and began practicing in Elkhorn. When he is not fixing teeth or teaching, Dr. Woodward enjoys fishing, boating, hunting with his French Pointer, Lang, and playing music.  Dr. Woodward is very excited to offer his specialty services to his hometown of Beatrice and surrounding communities.
